To the Tune of “Deck the Halls”
Deck the halls with boughs of holly,

’tis the season to be jolly,

Does it ever make you wonder,

why we decorate trees and wreaths?
I grew up adoring Santa.

and prayed for gifts on Christmas day.

Then one night while singing carols,
heard the words of, “O Christmas Tree.”
Then I knew, this is not okay.
Finally I Googled “Christmas,
about, 325 A.D.”
I’d assumed the change was harmless,
then I read Proverbs 30:6.
Now everybody knows Christ-mass,
Not our Creator’s Holy (Set-apart) days.
His birth, death, and Resurrection,
fulfilled on His Appointed days!
On Passover, Unleavened Bread,
His blood was shed, He died that day.
Three days later, it was First Fruits,
He rose just like He said He would.
Feast of Weeks, He sent His Spirit.
At Trumpets – Atonements – Sukkot;
He will Return – Judge – and Remain.
