Who Will Inherit Eternal Life?

Who Will Inherit Life in God’s Kingdom?

Parable of the King, Acts 10:42 and His Righteous Judgement, Matthew 25:31-40.

Like a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats, All people will stand before The King on Judgement Day, awaiting the revealing, as He places the sheep on His right and the goats on His left.

Then the King will say to those on His right, inherit what has been prepared in the Kingdom, from the foundation of the world.

Because, I was hungry you gave Me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink, I was a stranger and you took Me in, I was poorly clothed and you clothed Me, I was sick and you looked after Me, I was imprisoned and you came to Me.

Then the righteous will respond,

Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You something to drink?  When did we see You as a stranger and take you in, poorly clothed and cloth You?  When did we see You sick or imprisoned and visit You?

And the King will reply,

“In Truth I say to you, whatever you did for one of the least of these you did it for Me.”

The Righteous are those who gave Food, Water, Clothing, Shelter, Visited the Sick and Imprisoned.

The Righteous will inherit eternal Life Proverbs 12:28

Finding Wisdom is finding Life and Jesus (Yehoshua) is eternal Life.  Proverbs 8:34; 1 John 5:20

Prayer and Giving is Noticed by God

The book of Acts, Chapter 10, Reveals The Importance of Prayer and Giving.

Cornelius was a 1st century Roman Centurion, a hated enemy of the Jewish people, yet he knew of God’s Mercy and Compassion.

He showed mercy and compassion by giving generously to the needy, and he prayed at the regular prayer times.  It was during his 3:PM prayer time when an angel appeared to him in a vision to tell him his prayer had been heard and his giving remembered.

The angel then gave Cornelius instructions on how to find a man named Peter.

This is the same Peter who had known Y’shua personally.  He had been given instructions to preach and to testify that, “He is the One appointed by God to judge the living and the dead.  All the prophets testify about Him that everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins through His Name.” Acts 10:42; Acts 10:43

Except Peter would have had a problem visiting Cornelius because he was born and raised Jewish.  Religious Jews would never enter a non-Jewish persons home because they were considered unclean or common.

Peter Understands The Meaning of His Vision, Acts 9-16

It was noon and Peter was hungry when he went to the rooftop to pray.  He fell into a trance and saw a vision of unclean animals being offered to him to eat.  Peter obediently refuses, three times, before the sheet is taken away.  Confused about the meaning, he hears a voice say, “Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.”

Just then, three of Cornelius’ men find Peter’s house and Peter hears, “…there are three men looking for you, go with them without hesitation, I have sent them.” Acts 10:20

Peter obeys, still unsure of the meaning of the vision, until Cornelius explains:

Four days ago, I was in my house praying at this same time, 3:PM.  Suddenly a man in radiant clothing stood before me and said, ‘Cornelius, your prayer has been heard, and your giving toward the poor, is remembered before God. Therefore send to Joppa for Simon, who is called Peter. He is a guest in the home of Simon the tanner, by the sea.  So I sent for you immediately, and you were kind enough to come.  Now then, we are all here in the presence of God to listen to everything He has instructed you to tell us.”

Now Peter understands his vision:

Peter says,  “I now truly understand that God does not show favoritism, but welcomes those from every nation who fear Him and do what is right…” Acts 10:35

God Welcomes All People Who Revere Him and Do What is Right

What is right?  God defines what is right in Ten Statements, Exodus 20:1.  Y’hoshua, (Jesus) sums them all up by quoting Deuteronomy 6:5  and Leviticus 19:18.   By this we see the greatest commandments are covered by Loving God, (the first 5), and the second half is covered by Loving one another.

“All the Law (Torah) and the Prophets” depend on these two commandments.”  Matthew 22:40

Doing what is right is like gravity, it never changes because it is reality.  Righteousness, (doing what is right) Is, Was and Always Will Be the way that leads to Life.

It’s the same for All People; including you, your enemy, and all those religious people you disagree with.

So let us pray and Give, without condemnation for ourselves or others.  Riding ourselves of man-made divisions that don’t match up to our Creator’s Merciful, Compassionate and Impartially welcoming Love.

The Truth Will Set You Free, from what?

“Then you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you Free.” John 8:32

Truth shines like a Light in the darkness.

E72796 Forest path in the woodsOpinions About Truth

Our opinions about what’s good, bad, right, wrong, true or false have led to many an ugly disagreement.  Religious, political and family feuds exist as proof of those who do not know their Creator’s definitions.

Refusing to yield our opinions, offenses and grudges enslaves us, .2 Peter 2:19

People Think They are Free when they are Slaves to Sin

Y”shua (Jesus) told the religious leaders of His time, who thought they were free, “everyone who sins is a slave to sin.” John 8:34

The Truth is, sin keeps us bound to death, and we’re all slaves to sin,  Romans 5:12

We either obey sin or we obey Truth.  Because we are slaves to the one we obey, Romans 6:16Genesis 4:7

To be Free From Sin is Life

There may be as many opinions as their are people but from the creation of the world our invisible Creator has made Himself clearly seen by what He has made, so we have no excuse for hanging onto our vain opinions, Romans 1:20.

Freedom is our choice, Isaiah 55:9,  but it requires laying down my own opinions and beginning a search for what our Creator says is True, Jeremiah 29:13Matthew 7:7Deuteronomy 4:29.

Freedom, Salvation, Deliverance, Victory, Liberty, Release

“Declaring the End from the Beginning,” Isaiah 46:10

His Word Stands Forever, Isaiah 40:8Psalm 119:89Matthew 5:18

His Word Testifies about Jesus, John 5:39

Jesus, the Westernized name of Y’shua, a shortened version of Y’houshua, (Joshua), means YHVH Delivers.  He is the Way, Truth and Life, John 14:6.  He was the Word from the beginning, John 1:1, and the Word testifies about Him, John 5:39

The Instructions to Freedom are Not a Religion, They are Y’shua

The Word (Torah) is the perfect Way (instructions) of freedom, Psalm 119:45; James 1:25James 2:12Isaiah 61:1Luke 4:18

Before all the religious divisions, the Word of Truth existed.  A man named Moses was chosen to put the Word in writing, (Torah).  These are the instructions that shine like a Light in the darkness, because they foreshadowed Y’shua, who is the Light of Life, John 8:12

Y’shua made it possible for all people to pass from death to Life,  1 John 3:14.  All have the choice to be free from their oppression, contention, un-forgivenss and hate.   All we need to do is test our opinions and make them obedient to  the Way Y’shua lived, 1 John 2:62 Corinthians 10:5.

The Tree of Death and the Tree of Life

God Created The Tree of Death

In the beginning God gave His instruction, (Torah).  You may eat of every kind of tree in the garden but do not eat from the tree of the Knowledge of Good and Bad because it will cause your death/spiritual separation, Genesis 2:17.

The All Knowing declared the end from the beginning, including mankind’s rebellion, the time of humbling/death and redemption/Life, Isaiah 46:10

God Created The Tree of Life

“Then YHVH God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of Us, knowing good and bad; and now, he might stretch out his hand, and take also from the Tree of Life, and eat, and live forever“- Genesis 3:22

The cure for death existed from the beginning.   Why didn’t God allow Adam and Eve to eat from the Tree of Life and live in their fallen state forever?   Because death is temporary.  Mankind will not remain in the state of death forever.

Still, Only The Victorious Are Granted to Eat From the Tree of Life

“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the Assemblies. To the one who is Victorious, I will grant the right to eat of the tree of life….”  Revelation 2:7

Through one man, Adam, all died, Romans 5:12.  Through one man, Y’hoshua, all live; 1 Corinthians 15:22; Romans 5:17.

Y’hoshua, (YHVH’s Salvation) was the promised Seed of the Woman.  The promised One who would crush the head of the serpent, (an idiom meaning He will have Victory over satan/death)!  Genesis 3:15Revelation 1:18.

“And the serpent (the adversary) was enraged at the woman, (YHVH’s assembly) and went to make war with the rest of her children, who keep the commandments of YHVH and hold to the testimony of Y’hoshua…” Revelation 12:17

“Whoever claims to Live in Him (the Victorious) must walk as He (Y’hoshua) walked.” 1 John 2:6

The Good News is Knowing Death Is Overcome by Our Obedience.

The Bad News is there Will Be a Second Death/Separation for The Rebellious.

“Those who are granted the right to eat from the Tree of Life, will not be harmed by the second death,” (which is called the Lake of Fire). Revelation 2:11Revelation 20:14.
