The above verse is a fulfilled prophesy quoted in Matthew 21:5. Although it is recognizable, you will notice this small textual variation can make a big difference.
“This took place to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet: “Say to the daughter of Zion, ‘See, your King comes to you, gentle and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a beast of burden.”Matthew 21:5
The original Hebrew word, Tzeddiq means: Righteous, Blameless.

How To Test Our Translations To The Original Hebrew:
What do we do when our firmly rooted beliefs do not match up to God’s Original Word? Setting aside our emotional attachments and candidly holding up every belief to our Creator’s Perfect, Unchanging, Eternal/Spiritual/True Word, (Torah), Psalm 19:7; Psalm 119:160; Psalm 93:2: Romans 7:14, is life changing.
This was my experience as I began testing my own beliefs to Our Creator’s Way of Truth and Life, (Torah). Still it would take years before I could clearly see just how much I believed was based on what I was taught. Elevating religious leaders had kept me from searching for myself.
Why had I believed everything without testing it to the (Torah)? I had heard the insinuations that the Torah was Old, Abolished on the cross and even Corrupted.
Doubt was all it took to keep me from testing everything I heard, the way the Bereans did, Acts 17:11.
The Torah, Prophets and Writings, (TaNaK) were all they had to test if what they were hearing about Jesus (Yehoshua) was true.
Every 1st Century believer, was or converted to the religion of Judaism. They knew the Torah and how to spot a false teaching. No true prophet would add anything to or take away from The Torah, Deuteronomy 4:2; 12:32; Proverbs 30:6.
At the council of Jerusalem, Acts 15, Paul, Barnabas and many others, including Simon Peter, saw the fulfillment of Amos 9;11, 12. The nations were turning to God! Still some of the religious leaders were causing difficulty saying they needed to be circumcised in the custom of Moses, Leviticus 12:3, in order to be saved.
The council agreed unanimously with Simon’s suggestion in verses 19, 20, to keep from food polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, meat that has been strangled meat and from blood. For the Torah of Moses is preached each week in the synagogues.
“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them, but to fulfill them. 18 For I tell you truly, until heaven and earth pass away, not a single jot, not a stroke of a pen, will disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.“ Matthew 5:18,43…
“The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever.” Isaiah 40:8
“you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams; for Y’hovah your God is testing you to find out if you love Y’hovah your God with all your heart and with all your soul.”Deuteronomy 13:3
If we don’t know our Creator’s Living Torah, Jesus, (Y’hoshua meaning, Y’hovah’s Salvation), we won’t know Man’s countless Religious Divisions are full of lies.
